History

     History, a wise man once said; history repeats itself, for lack of remembrances, nothing changes, and he was correct.  This man, King Solomon, also said; man keeps right on trying to be the creator, attempting to make others into their image and likeness, rather than letting or raising up others into the image and likeness of God, by God’s design.  Ecc 1:9  The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

Ecc 1:10  Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

Ecc 1:11  There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.

Here is where he made it clear, men are of a mind they are smarter and wiser than God; Ecc 1:2  Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.

Ecc 1:3  What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?

We as men do everything in our power to make mirror images of ourselves, like we think we’re all that and a bag of chips, making ourselves bullies, even to the point that supposed Godly men use scripture to try and change people.  The problem here is, we don’t understand the scriptures and we use them incorrectly, attempting to bring the fold into submission to man rather than God!  Case and point; I once had a Pastor who turned to me and said; if you’re not for me, then you’re against me.  Well the fact of the matter is simple, if you’re wrong with God, I cannot be for you, as I’m for God, and God’s Word tells me; Psa 1:1  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Psa 1:2  But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

Psa 1:3  And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Psa 1:4  The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

Psa 1:5  Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

Psa 1:6  For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

This Pastor tried to bully me into following his way, rather than God’s way, and all because I obeyed God and exposed the Jezebel spirit, that was rising up and ruling in his church, and now Ichabod is written over their door.  When I exposed this demonic, they all saw it that I was attacking his elite followers, rather than God informing him and them that there was something evil going on in the church.  That’s the way man is today with each child growing up.  If the child doesn’t fit into the plans of their guardians, the child is repeatedly told how wrong they are and that they need to find a better idea of who they are supposed to be.  I wonder how many future, righteous leaders we have lost, because men don’t want to accept the dreams of a child that may have been instilled by God.  Isa 44:24  Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;

Isa 49:5  And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.

Jer 1:5  Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

I don’t know about anyone else, but this makes me wonder how many were ordained for something very specific, as servants of God, but parents or guardians destroyed the dreams of that child because it wasn’t good enough in their eyes!  In some cases, I wonder how peer pressure affected the call of those who do serve God.  The theology, dress for success has entered into the church workforce, negating the call and design of God to take care of the fatherless and widows, to help the poor and needy.  If we don’t wear thousand dollar suits and shoes and drive big expensive cars, we must not be successful in ministry, now there’s a fallacy from the pit of hell.  God doesn’t care about your expensive cars and clothes, or even if you’re successful looking ion the eyes of men, God does care about, were you successful in feeding and clothing his sheep.  Are or were you the type of servant who laid his own life aside to give to others?  Every day I see Pastors and preachers out there who go hungry to feed others, but we were told to take care of our preachers, we were also told take care of the fatherless, the widows, the hungry and the needy.  What I do see is people giving to those who already have and can afford to lose much, but those who have little or nothing, getting little or nothing.  There is something seriously wrong with this thought process, to begin with, it’s not Godly in principle or truth.

     We have a group of churches that are banned together to take care of children who have been removed from their homes for their safety.  These children need food, clothing, repairs to their living facilities, and these children have asked to learn to play musical instruments, so they, too can worship and honor God from their hearts.  We have put the call out, but imagine that; no one has responded, nothing new under the sun.  We have asked for donations for refrigerators and freezers, for vehicles and equipment, and it seems the only people that care, just keep giving and giving, but no one else helps.  People, it’s time we repented of our selfishness, and started taking care of those whom God has given us to take care of.  Stop praying about if you should give that extra money, and just give it, build the treasures in heaven we’re called to build.  When it’s all said and done, the only treasure that we can have and take with us, is the treasures we store in heaven.  It is my hope, it is God’s hope, even though He knows, that you will start obeying Him, instead of men.  Start reading and studying your Bibles, you might just get the biggest surprise of your lives.  Don’t forget to take care of the vessels God has placed over and around you.  God bless you and Amen!
